Bandmaster Lawrence Willgoose, front centre, retired in 1959 and Tommy Tuft, 2nd left took over. The CO, Lt Col Peter Newton MC,TD. is between Tommy and Lawrence. The Adjutant was Capt Ronnie Eccles, now Brig Eccles, President of the Y & L Regiment. 2nd from the right, front row was Mr Peck who was also a civilian employee in the Orderly Room.
